Tomasz John's blog is aimed at supporting his continual professional development at both, UCA, his workplace where he attempts to enhance international student experience and UoR at which he is a PhD student doing research in the same area. He is hoping to treat it as a journal, evidence-based forum and first of all, a record of his intellectual journeys within the theme of internationalisation of teaching and learning.

100,000 more international students in the next 5 years
This probably means I have my job secured until 2018. On a serious note I wonder if universities are ready to support this extra influx of foreign students. In the era of serious cuts and savings at HE institutions I cannot imagine international students having extraordinary experience without EAP support and lecturers being able to cope with extra demands of teaching students with English as a second language.
